New Hope School Community Water Well

Through a collaboration with Well Aware (www.wellawareworld.org), VLGF helped fund the digging of a new bore hole and the construction of supporting infrastructure to bring water to New Hope School and surrounding communities around Arusha, Tanzania.

The impact of these improvements have been significant. Students no longer have to walk long distances to retrieve fresh water, which ultimately frees up time for learning and other meaningful activities.
